Starr as Ruby SlippersI thoroughly enjoyed this collection of Christmas romances set on the old West. Each had its unique twist that kept me reading. Some, the plot kept me guessing, others the characters pulled me. All were good. Well-written and better than average for this genre.

In A Christmas Groom, a confederate soldier returns home to Arizona Territory with plans to marry his sweetheart. Unfortunately, she thought he was dead and plans to wed another man. Unraveling this painful predicament made me ache for everyone involved—I couldn’t put the story down until I knew Tom and Mariah would find each other once again. Ms. Coverstone has done an excellent job creating two memorable characters.
